چکیده

Diseases caused by mosquitoes continue to be the leading cause of illness and death worldwide. Malaria, filariasis, Japanese encephalitis dengue fever are diseases that clearly transmitted genera Anopheles, Culex Aedes. In addition, in genus have also been identified as main vectors transmit WNV (West Nile Virus) several countries. One efforts eradicate is break chain mosquito distribution eradicating nests killing larvae. The use abate insecticides larvicides can most common way controlling growth vectors. for a long time will resistance or larvae immune (insecticide). Shallot skin has potential developed biolarvicide sp due its phytochemical compounds. Onion peel waste was proven positive containing alkaloids, saponins, flavonoids tannins. purpose this study determine effective concentration onion powder (Allium ascalonicum) LC50 against at an 0.025 gr/ml, 0.05 gr. /ml, 0.075 gr/ml 0.1 gr/ml. This type research experimental laboratory, carried out from August September 2021 Microbiology Laboratory D III Study Program Medical Technology, Health Poltekkes, Aceh Ministry Health. sample 325 Instar treatments consisted 4 concentrations g/ml, g/ml negative control (Water) with 3 repetitions. Each treatment group contained 25 data obtained were analyzed using formula percentage mortality Probit analysis test calculate LC50. results showed average larval 8 birds (32%), 9 (37%), 11 (44%), 16 animals (64%).
